This blog post is the very first blog of many that I look forward to writing for you all. I love to research topics that interest me and I love to share information. In addition to researching and sharing, I enjoy writing. Writing is a passion for me and a gift, so it is through my gift that I will be sharing all of the wonderful information that I get.
Please...if you have not done so yet, click the box to follow my blog! This way you can stay on top of all the information I share. I will put it out there for you all, but it does me no good if noone is reading it :-(
The picture you see above is my hair before I started my journey back in November of 2010. After I had my daughter (my 5th child) I noticed several rashes on my body that caused me to scratch. In addition to the rashes, my hair began to break off and shed tremendously.
In a serious effort to stop my hair from falling out, I began to try all kinds of methods to determine what would be best for my hair. I found out that eggs were good for my hair. I began to use an egg in my hair as I washed and conditioned it weekly.
My hair's health quickly began to recover and the protein from the egg was making it healthy and strong. Within a couple of months though, I noticed that my hair's health began to deteriorate. It began to break off worse than before. It also became dry and brittle and even more damaged! It wasn't before long that I realized that using the egg over a period of time began counteracting what I originally set out to do.
My hair suffered from protein overload and I failed miserably at trying to "fix" my hair's damage. I didn't know what to do.
